TRAINING AND CAPACITY-BUILDING SESSIONS

Law school and university life present a ton of opportunities for growth and development as a young adult. After years of reading law, writing law exams and passing out as lawyers, you may realise you are missing certain skills essential to your success as a young lawyer and crucial for your overall happiness as a working young adult navigating the corporate world.

We occasionally hold training and capacity-building sessions to guide law students to develop their skills across a broad range of topics. These sessions may cover:

  • Answering law questions to obtain the best marks.

  • Effectively briefing law cases and digesting articles.

  • Preparing academic and professional CVs.

  • Applying for internship and pupillage positions, and preparing for interviews

  • Cultivating efficient public speaking and presentation skills.

  • Developing abstracts and writing papers for journals.

  • Curating a focused social media profile.

  • Conducting client interviews and taking instructions.

  • Preparing legal opinions.

  • Generally, identifying and taking advantage of the many learning opportunities that law school, university and life have to offer.

Many of these sessions will be conducted through webinars, training seminars, and bootcamps with resource persons well-versed in the relevant areas. We will endeavour to hold such sessions quarterly.

Keep an eye out for our flyers on these training sessions and join whenever you can. Do not miss out!
